The freelancer Pilot Flyback Chronograph Limited Edition “One of 400” watch celebrates the heritage of the family watchmaking company by paying tribute to its founder, Mr. Raymond Weil, and his passion for aviation. This new timepiece features a complex function and a complication new to the brand: the flyback chronograph. Used by many pilots, the flyback function allows for precise distance calculations during aerial navigation.
To complete the model's elegant and adventurous look, the 42 mm stainless steel case is fully brushed and coated with a gray PVD. The hands and numerals are coated with Super-LumiNova®, allowing optimal readability in low light. Functional and bold, its design is an ode to 20th-century aviation, a time when Mr. Raymond Weil loved to soar above the grandiose Swiss landscapes. The crown features a conical shape specific to aviator watches, and the brown leather strap features rivets reminiscent of those on vintage aircraft.
