This Promaster model NB6026-56L , re-released in 2022, is based on a very special vintage Citizen: a 1977 Challenge Diver that was lost at sea and resurfaced years later on Long Reef Beach in Australia. Still in working order and covered in barnacles, it earned the now-common nickname "Fujitsubo," Japanese for barnacle.
The color choice for this limited edition Fujitsubo NB6026-56L is inspired by the blue of the ocean and the white sand of the beach in question. This is reflected on the dial and in the blue accents on the bezel.
